Corporate Banking Internship – Abidjan (2026)

About the role

This 12‑week internship immerses you in Citi’s Corporate Banking operations in Abidjan, giving you real‑world exposure to both front‑ and back‑office activities. You will work closely with the coverage team, product partners and service teams, contributing to daily tasks while building a solid foundation in financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and clarify documentation for the Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) process.
• Respond to requests for further information on client transactions.
• Assist in credit‑request analysis, including financial‑statement review and recommendation.
• Liaise with product partners to prepare reports on client complaints, pricing reviews and pipeline status.
• Handle client queries and email correspondence in coordination with Citi Service teams.
• Gather documents and contracts for central‑bank submissions related to FX transactions.
• Support the coverage team with various administrative duties.
• Conduct sector‑specific research to aid relationship‑manager decision‑making.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate candidate, preferably in the penultimate year of study, from a leading institution.
• Strong academic record and genuine interest in the financial services industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to personal and professional growth.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Desire to develop a deep understanding of banking and finance.
• Unquestioned integrity and ethical decision‑making.
