About the role

Join Baker Hughes as an Emerging Talent Field Services Specialist Intern and gain hands‑on experience in a global energy company. You will work on real projects, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and develop practical skills in industrial automation and subsea equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete internal projects that deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learn and use internal software tools to support project execution.
• Collaborate with global business leaders, cross‑functional teams, and fellow interns.
• Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all activities.
• Participate in Christmas tree installation on supply vessels.
• Maintain, repair, and test subsea production and wellhead equipment.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Legal right to work in Côte d'Ivoire without sponsorship.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming languages.
• Familiarity with SCADA concepts and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC).
• Experience with low‑level or embedded programming, preferably C/C++.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and eagerness to learn industrial automation tools.
