HSE Advisor – Gold Project (Ivory Coast)

About the role

Join Lycopodium’s new gold project team in Ivory Coast as an HSE Advisor. You will support day‑to‑day construction operations while ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met in line with company, client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day construction site operations and ensure HSE policies are understood and applied.
• Align all HSE initiatives with company, client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, vendors and external stakeholders in line with company ethos.
• Collaborate with the HSE team to meet legal, project‑specific and industry standards.

Required profile

• Relevant HSE/OHS certification or qualification.
• Minimum 4 years experience in construction, preferably mining or mineral processing.
• Extensive HSE experience in engineering or resources environments.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory HSE requirements.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities.
