Marketing Manager – West & Central Africa

About the role

BIC World is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead brand strategy across West and Central Africa. You will be responsible for driving growth, increasing brand awareness, and ensuring a consistent brand presence across all channels in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage brand strategies to boost awareness, positioning and market share.
• Plan, coordinate and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns (TV, outdoor, digital, etc.).
• Analyse market trends, consumer insights and competitor activity to keep the brand relevant.
• Collaborate with regional teams on product development to align with brand values.
• Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, including messaging, tone and visual identity.
• Measure and report campaign performance using ROI, engagement and conversion metrics.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Work closely with Sales, PR, S&D and other functions to deliver integrated brand communication.
• Oversee external agencies (advertising, digital, PR) and internal trade‑marketing team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of marketing experience in FMCG.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience managing budgets and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
