Music Executive

About the role

The Music Executive will lead the investment and development of Moroccan music content, overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from selection to execution. This senior role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to maximize portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate music content investments, including catalogue acquisition and artist contracts.
• Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessment for target projects.
• Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure smooth project approval and execution.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑investment relationships with artists, record labels, and third‑party partners.
• Lead project reporting, data collation, and presentation to senior management.
• Develop diversified investment portfolios aligned with risk‑benefit principles.
• Organize daily investment meetings, approve projects, and supervise project‑team staff.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and marketing presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in music investment, preferably within an investment firm or large institutional investor.
• Proven background working with record labels or the music industry in Morocco.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
