Offshore Electrician Technician – High Voltage Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced offshore electrician to join the Baleine project on our Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel. The role focuses on the maintenance, diagnostics, and reliability of critical electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on high‑voltage installations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily activities comply with HSEQ policies, legal regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Operate and maintain electric power installations, utilities, and high‑voltage systems aboard the vessel.
• Perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) work, guaranteeing compliance with applicable rules.
• Maintain valid calibrations for all test instruments and report E&I status to supervisors.
• Participate in work‑planning meetings, preparing work‑control certificates, risk assessments, and isolation plans.
• Diagnose equipment failures and develop repair solutions for power generation, switchgear, ESD/PSD, fire‑and‑gas, control/automation, communication and IT systems.
• Execute tasks in line with the Operations Manual and Offshore Emergency Response Plan.

Required profile

• Valid ship’s electrician licence or at least one year of training from an approved institution.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Compliance with the training matrix for the position.
• Candidate must be Ivorian, as the role is reserved for local talent.
