Payment Operations Internship – TTS Ops

About the role

Citi is offering a six‑month paid internship in its Payment Operations business unit in Abidjan. The position provides hands‑on experience for undergraduate or postgraduate students eager to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a member of the Payment Operations team, supporting daily transaction processing.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports and ensuring compliance with local exchange regulations.
• Support foreign‑exchange (FX) activities and related documentation.
• Gain exposure to Citi’s broad range of financial products and services.

Required profile

• Highly motivated student with a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset.
• Interest in financial markets, current affairs and banking operations.
• Strong academic record at both secondary and university level.
• Open to candidates from any degree discipline; finance‑related studies are a plus.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Côte d’Ivoire exchange regulation.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
