Product Designer

About the role

Djamo is building the future of banking in Africa and is looking for a Product Designer to join its product team. You will work closely with product managers, developers and marketers to create intuitive, visually appealing financial products for millions of users across Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product specifications into high‑fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes.
• Identify and prioritize UI/UX improvement opportunities across existing and new features.
• Conduct user research activities such as surveys and prototype testing, turning insights into design decisions.
• Collaborate with the Lead Product Designer and a small design team during weekly critique sessions.
• Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Produce Figma prototypes and validate functionality through user testing.

Required profile

• Fluent communication in both French and English.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, engineering and marketing stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with the product vision.
