Senior Leader – Commercial Training (Africa)

About the role

bioMérieux is seeking a Senior Leader Commercial Training to drive the transformation of its commercial model across the Africa region. Based in Abidjan, you will lead training initiatives, CRM deployment and sales‑effectiveness programs while collaborating with global and regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment and continuous improvement of CRM tools to enhance sales processes.
• Develop, deliver and evolve training curricula for global commercial teams, including e‑learning solutions.
• Design and implement sales‑effectiveness programs to boost revenue growth, market share and customer satisfaction.
• Provide strategic guidance to sales leaders on best practices, market opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Monitor commercial performance metrics, identify gaps and create action plans for improvement.
• Support product launches by preparing the sales organization for market penetration.
• Supervise and mentor training coordinators, assistant managers, e‑learning developers and instructional designers.
• Act as a key liaison with Sales, Digital Transformation, Medical Affairs, Marketing, R&D and other functions at global and regional levels.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in commercial performance management or sales training leadership.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale transformation projects and drive commercial excellence.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience monitoring performance metrics and implementing improvement plans.
• Willingness to travel 50‑60% of the time across the Africa region.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
