Senior Odoo Developer

About the role

GOCAB is scaling its operations across Africa and needs a senior Odoo developer to design, customize, and deploy a multi‑company Odoo ecosystem. You will translate business requirements from finance, HR, legal, and operations into automated, real‑time workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Odoo modules and extend standard applications (Accounting, HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Purchase, Documents, Project, Reporting).
• Implement multi‑company architecture, including inter‑company transactions, multi‑currency handling, and consolidated reporting.
• Configure and customize HR processes such as employee management, recruitment pipelines, leave, attendance, and payroll integrations.
• Build finance and treasury solutions: expense approvals, cash‑position dashboards, bank integrations, PO‑to‑invoice matching, and automated financial reporting.
• Create and maintain integrations with banking platforms, biometric attendance systems, payroll providers, e‑signature tools, WhatsApp Business APIs, and third‑party accounting systems.
• Develop executive dashboards, HR analytics, KPI monitoring, and automated PDF/Excel exports.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Odoo development experience, preferably with Odoo 16/17.
• Strong understanding of both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
• Proven ability to lead architecture and deployment of multi‑company ERP solutions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
