Digital Media Designer – Global (Grade 10)

About the role

The Digital Media Designer will create and deliver a wide range of visual assets for marketing, communications, and internal use across global platforms. You will work closely with brand and product teams to ensure all outputs follow Barloworld and Caterpillar brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design ready‑to‑use banners, social media posts, and professional email templates.
• Produce website wireframes, mockups, and live page builds in CMS platforms such as WordPress or SharePoint.
• Create interactive digital brochures and catalogues with clickable navigation.
• Develop moving infographics, intro sequences, and short edited video clips for campaigns.
• Prepare print‑ready files for brochures, posters, and event signage.
• Design polished presentation decks for sales pitches and internal meetings.
• Maintain a library of on‑brand templates and an organised media archive.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
• 2–4 years of multimedia or graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong eye for layout, typography and design principles across print and digital.
• Basic understanding of motion design, video editing and UI/UX fundamentals.
• Ability to tell visual stories that meet consumer needs and behaviours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
