Head of Driver Recruitment (Mass Recruitment)

About the role

Green SM is expanding its ride‑hailing operations in Côte d’Ivoire and needs a senior leader to own driver manpower planning and acquisition across multiple cities. The Head of Driver Recruitment will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality driver supply, meeting growth targets and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute city‑level driver supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and expansion timelines.
• Lead multi‑channel driver hiring campaigns, including walk‑in sessions, community outreach, referral programs and digital sourcing.
• Oversee recruitment operations: screening, document verification, onboarding scheduling and compliance.
• Manage and coach local recruiters and field teams, setting clear targets and monitoring performance.
• Track and analyse recruitment KPIs such as funnel conversion, time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire and activation rates, reporting to country and operations leadership.
• Collaborate with Operations, City and Marketing teams to align driver onboarding with city launches and peak‑demand planning.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of experience in recruitment, workforce acquisition or frontline operations, preferably in ride‑hailing, logistics or transportation.
• At least 2 years of people‑management experience in high‑volume, field‑based environments.
• Proven track record of mass hiring and on‑ground recruitment execution.
• Strong operational, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Resilient, hands‑on leader comfortable working in fast‑paced settings.
