Quality Assurance Manager – Food Safety

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance at our Ivory Coast plant. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, international standards, and customer expectations while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain robust QA and food safety systems (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
• Oversee laboratory operations and ensure reliable test results.
• Supervise quality control of raw materials, in‑process checks, and final product release.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Manage internal, external, and certification audits and maintain audit readiness.
• Coach and develop the QA team and collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, and other functions.
• Act as liaison with regulators, auditors, and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years QA experience, at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong background in food manufacturing or processing.
• Hands‑on experience setting up or managing QA systems in a plant.
• Proven ability to lead audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
