Compliance Partner

About the role

Roche Diagnostics Africa is seeking a Compliance Partner to lead compliance excellence across the Francophone West & Central Africa network. Reporting to the General Manager in Côte d’Ivoire and matrix‑reporting to the Director of Legal, Compliance and Risk – Africa, the role will establish and implement the compliance programme for the Côte d’Ivoire affiliate while supporting regional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Roche’s Code of Conduct and compliance culture through regular training and awareness sessions.
• Design and operate the anti‑bribery compliance programme for export markets, defining policies, controls and best practices.
• Deliver distributor compliance training, conduct due‑diligence, controls and audits.
• Lead the internal Risk and Opportunities programme, reporting and tracking activities in the CARISMA tool.
• Provide guidance on compliance matters and enhance compliance culture within the FWCA market.
• Support business teams on strategic projects by identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
• Report to the governing body on implementation and effectiveness of the compliance programme.
• Participate in internal investigations of suspected non‑compliant behaviour, including interviews and desk reviews.
• Assist in investigations subject to internal or government audit and collaborate on transversal projects with the Africa Sub‑Region Compliance Team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑complexity compliance activities in the healthcare or diagnostics sector.
• Strong knowledge of anti‑bribery regulations and distributor compliance requirements.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, internal investigations and produce clear reports.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver training and interact with senior leadership.

• Proficiency with Roche’s internal CARISMA compliance monitoring tool.
