Onsite IT Support Intern

About the role

The Onsite IT Support Intern will join SLB’s local IT team in Abidjan, providing first‑line desktop assistance and supporting a range of technology projects. This role offers hands‑on experience with hardware, software, and digital‑solution tools while working closely with end‑users and senior IT staff.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve and close incidents and service requests following help‑desk procedures and defined timelines.
• Communicate incident status and progress to customers.
• Develop and support digital solutions using Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI.
• Maintain the Global Asset Management database with up‑to‑date hardware information.
• Assist in infrastructure setup and renovation projects, including network devices, Lenel PACs, CCTV, servers, PABX and Lync systems.
• Coordinate spare‑asset inventory and ensure compliance with QHSE and IT policies.
• Support low‑risk IT projects at the location.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Graduated within the last two years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge to practical solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken, written, reading).
