Stagiaire Assistant Juridique

About the role

Roche is looking for a motivated Legal Assistant Intern to turn theoretical knowledge of law into practical skills. You will support the legal department in contract management, legal research, and administrative tasks while gaining exposure to the biomedical and diagnostics sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update contract templates in line with local OHADA regulations (commercial, partnership, service, donation, grant, etc.).
• Draft, review, and proofread a variety of contracts.
• Assist in contract negotiations with external parties and act as liaison between the Legal Director and local teams.
• Conduct legal research on topics related to medical diagnostics, biomedical science, and compliance.
• Implement a unique contract identification system and maintain a local contract register.
• File and archive legal documents and help update the company’s legal documentation.
• Prepare meeting materials and presentations for the legal department.
• Support any activity that contributes to the objectives of the legal function and the broader organization.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in OHADA Business Law.
• Previous internship or experience in a law firm/company with contract drafting and administrative duties.
• Strong knowledge of OHADA business law.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written French; English knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in science, biomedical fields, and a proactive, disciplined attitude.
