Electrical Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Stefanutti Stocks Inland is looking for a detail‑oriented Electrical Quality Assurance Officer to ensure that all electrical components, systems and installations meet company standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements. The role involves inspecting materials, monitoring installation processes, conducting functional testing and documenting any non‑conformities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and functional testing of wiring, lighting, switchgear and panels to verify compliance with NEC, IEEE and other electrical codes.
• Review electrical designs, blueprints and project specifications; maintain inspection logs, test reports and non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Develop and implement electrical quality control procedures, checklists and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Audit incoming electrical materials and components to ensure they meet project standards.
• Ensure all work adheres to OSHA and local safety regulations and project safety plans.
• Identify defects, initiate corrective actions and verify that repairs are completed effectively.
• Prepare daily, weekly or monthly quality reports for project management and clients.

Required profile

• Suitably qualified with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing material submittals, inspecting incoming materials and monitoring installation activities.
• Ability to document findings clearly and follow up on corrective actions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC and IEEE.
• Familiarity with safety standards including OSHA.
• Visual inspection and functional testing of electrical systems.
• Conducting continuity and insulation resistance tests.
• Reviewing electrical designs, blueprints and project specifications.
• Developing inspection test plans (ITPs) and quality control checklists.
