Freelance Linguistics Specialist (English to French)

About the role

We are looking for bilingual English‑French linguists to join Editage’s global pool of freelance contributors. You will work remotely on a variety of short‑term, task‑based projects that support AI development and language‑focused content.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refine texts, translations and captions in domains such as travel, food, lifestyle and finance.
• Transcribe spoken conversations and perform quality‑check procedures.
• Label or annotate voice, text or image data for machine‑learning models.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI systems.
• Assist in localising content for AI model training.

Required profile

• Near‑native proficiency in French and strong command of English.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Prior experience in translation, editing, transcription or related language tasks is preferred.
