Freelance Linguistics Specialist (English to French)

About the role
We are looking for bilingual English‑French linguists to join Editage’s global pool of freelance contributors. You will work remotely on a variety of short‑term, task‑based projects that support AI development and language‑focused content.
Key responsibilities
- Review and refine texts, translations and captions in domains such as travel, food, lifestyle and finance.
- Transcribe spoken conversations and perform quality‑check procedures.
- Label or annotate voice, text or image data for machine‑learning models.
- Review and correct outputs generated by AI systems.
- Assist in localising content for AI model training.
Required profile
- Near‑native proficiency in French and strong command of English.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Prior experience in translation, editing, transcription or related language tasks is preferred.
