Merchant Distribution Supervisor

About the role

Wave is looking for a dynamic Merchant Distribution Supervisor to lead a team of field distributors and drive user acquisition across a defined territory. You will play a key part in executing Wave’s rapid growth strategy, ensuring the payment product reaches new merchants and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new users and merchants within the assigned area.
• Manage, coach, and motivate a team of 25‑50 merchant distributors.
• Onboard and train new distributors to align with Wave’s values and processes.
• Collaborate with Territory Leads and Regional Leads to plan and execute distribution activities.
• Monitor daily distributor performance and provide actionable feedback.
• Relay insights to product and engineering teams to improve the distribution process.
• Work with the Below‑the‑Line Marketing team to ensure Wave’s visible presence in the market.

Required profile

• Strong management and people‑leadership abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Experience in field sales, distribution, or merchant acquisition.
