Mining Technician – Field Equipment Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Mining Technician to provide effective and efficient technical interventions on field equipment used in mining operations, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction under BIA’s maintenance contracts and SLA agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot and repair field equipment according to shop manuals and repair processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee continuous equipment functionality, maximum utilization and availability, following OEM standards.
• Follow planning instructions, respect reporting requirements and represent BIA’s values on site.
• Maintain safe working conditions, comply with BIA’s HSE procedures, report any health, safety or environmental issues, and attend compulsory HSE events.
• Stop work and withdraw from activities when serious and imminent danger is identified.

Required profile

• Ability to follow planning instructions and reporting requirements.
• Commitment to HSE standards and safe working practices.
• Willingness to work on‑site in the Ivory Coast and collaborate with a team of experienced colleagues.
