PGTR Market Manager – Western Africa

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated PGTR Market Manager to lead sales and marketing activities across Western Africa. You will act as the organization’s representative in the region, driving profitable growth for the business unit portfolio while ensuring alignment with global strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies that align with global objectives.
• Set, monitor, and adjust sales targets; create improvement plans as needed.
• Identify acquisition opportunities with existing and potential customers.
• Allocate resources to maximize market coverage and sales performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision‑makers.
• Lead contract negotiations, set pricing strategies, and control project execution costs.
• Coordinate marketing communications to achieve volume targets.
• Provide market intelligence reports and monitor financial performance.
• Manage project schedules, quality, and cash‑flow through effective contract execution.
• Oversee after‑sales service activities and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Define and track KPIs, prepare performance reports for senior management, and manage the market budget.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the market team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
