Key Account Manager – West Africa (Côte d'Ivoire Focus)

About the role
The Key Account Manager will lead market development and high‑value client acquisition for XCMG in Côte d'Ivoire. You will focus on strategic industries, especially mining, to drive large‑scale adoption of XCMG products and solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse market trends, competitor strategies and client demand to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted engagement and project promotion strategies for key accounts.
- Manage the full lifecycle of high‑value clients, from acquisition through project delivery and recurring business.
- Collaborate in the Leads‑to‑Cash (LTC) process, translating customer requirements into actionable product solutions.
- Support and develop the regional sales team, including incentive program design for key account growth.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, International Trade, Business Management or related fields.
- At least 10 years of product sales experience, preferably in key‑account, project‑based or solution sales.
- Familiarity with the Côte d'Ivoire or West African market environment.
- Proven success in overseas sales of construction machinery, heavy equipment or vehicles.
- Professional proficiency in English or French.
