Procurement and Logistics Officer

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Officer will oversee the full procurement cycle and logistics coordination for mechanical and HVAC materials, ensuring that all items are sourced, delivered, and stocked in line with project schedules and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, procurement, and purchasing of mechanical and HVAC components such as VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, chillers, ductwork, and copper piping.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable delivery terms.
• Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate import/export activities, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and support warehouse operations.
• Prepare procurement and logistics reports, KPIs, and cost‑analysis documentation.
• Support cost‑optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply‑chain roles, preferably within HVAC, mechanical, MEP, construction or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and inventory management.
• Fluent in French; English is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
