Product Relations Manager

About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent in Africa and needs a Product Relations Manager to own the product and technical side of external partner integrations. Based in Côte d'Ivoire, you will act as the bridge between partners and our engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage partner relationships, driving integrations end‑to‑end from scoping through launch.
• Evaluate prospective partners’ technical readiness and issue go/no‑go recommendations before contracts are signed.
• Lead technical scoping sessions, translating partner requirements into clear engineering specifications.
• Hold partners accountable for delivery, escalating issues when progress stalls.
• Monitor integration health post‑launch and resolve performance degradations.
• Identify opportunities to expand or deepen existing partnerships.
• Make data‑driven build‑vs‑buy and direct‑vs‑aggregator decisions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution across Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Support, and Partner Operations.
• Use transaction data and operational metrics to prioritize work and inform decisions.
• Contribute to standardising integration processes and playbooks across markets.

Required profile
