Quality Control Engineer – Equipment Depot

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Quality Control Engineer to join its equipment depot team in Abidjan. You will ensure the highest quality standards across installation processes, working closely with installation, sourcing and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement, validate and update Installation Quality Control Plans and related QC forms.
• Conduct on‑site and warehouse inspections to verify compliance with construction, installation and storage standards.
• Document inspection results, maintain records by site, product, team and work phase, and update quality documentation.
• Participate in joint inspections with clients or project teams and ensure proper calibration of critical tools.
• Support the SQ/Sourcing team in managing supplier NCRs and quality control of supplied installation materials.
• Assist in preparing 4M files, support internal and external audits, and produce inspection reports.
• Coordinate punch‑list preparation, support criticality analysis and drive continuous‑improvement activities (8D, QRQC, lessons learned).

Required profile

• Engineering degree in electromechanical, electrical, materials, mechanical or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection within an industrial or construction environment.
