Senior Project Planner Manager

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Senior Project Planning Manager to join Alstom’s transport solutions team in Abidjan. In this role you will lead the creation, maintenance and analysis of project schedules for complex rail and infrastructure programmes, working closely with project directors, development, operations and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the right‑hand of the Project Director on all schedule‑related matters.
• Develop, update and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera or MS Project.
• Identify critical paths, risks and propose mitigation or optimisation actions.
• Coordinate schedule interfaces among all stakeholders and provide regular progress and risk reports.
• Support contract management and Earned Value Management processes.
• Lead periodic schedule review sessions and contribute to continuous improvement and best‑practice sharing.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in project scheduling, time‑management and planning processes.
• Familiarity with industrial planning, civil works and earned value management principles.
• Project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
