About the role
Join Aggreko as a Senior Business Development & Strategic Account Officer to identify new opportunities, build strong relationships and expand Aggreko’s presence across Ivory Coast. You will act as the primary in‑country representative, driving growth and ensuring the company’s values are upheld.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Aggreko’s in‑country representation and maintain key customer relationships while navigating complex stakeholder organisations.
- Execute the regional growth strategy by developing key accounts, expanding the customer base and identifying new market segments.
- Secure timely contract extensions for existing agreements in partnership with the Commercial Manager.
- Reduce debtor days and improve cash flow performance.
- Ensure CSR commitments and governance standards are met, liaising with public and regulatory bodies such as tax, legal, customs and courts.
- Promote Aggreko’s culture and values internally and externally.
- Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to share best practices and knowledge.
Required profile
- 5+ years of proven business development success, consistently achieving large‑project sales targets.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and aligning multiple stakeholders toward a common goal.
- Ability to build relationships at C‑level and with senior public officials.
- Strong business acumen with the capacity to craft proposals that deliver operational, commercial, financial and CSR value.
- Background in technical or industrial firms and familiarity with international governance standards.
- Advanced French and intermediate English proficiency.
- Residency and citizenship in Ivory Coast.
