Passenger Services & Ops Assistant

About the role

The Passenger Services & Ops Assistant ensures smooth pre‑flight operations, from passenger check‑in to cargo handling, guaranteeing a secure and efficient flight schedule. You will work closely with the Passenger Services Manager and various airport stakeholders to deliver a high‑quality travel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform passenger check‑in, luggage handling and ensure the check‑in window closes 60 minutes before departure.
• Supervise loading and unloading of freight and baggage, ensuring all items are weighed, labelled and properly manifested.
• Maintain and provide all required documentation (boarding passes, flight envelopes, weight & balance sheets, manifests, etc.).
• Escort passengers through customs, assist VIPs and report any delays or missing passengers to the Passenger Services department.
• Verify that no dangerous goods are carried in passenger baggage and handle dangerous‑goods items according to certification standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to follow company procedures and submit the pilot‑in‑command flight plan.

Required profile

• BTS in Travel and Tourism or related field, with Weight & Balance, Dangerous Goods and SGS certifications.
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
• Minimum 2 years experience in passenger services, ground operations and remote check‑in environments.
• Familiarity with mining‑site procedures and a strong safety mindset.
• Good understanding of flight operations and pre‑flight systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Weight and Balance calculations, especially for PC12 NG aircraft.
• Handling and documentation of Dangerous Goods.
• Advanced knowledge of radio communication protocols.
