About the role
Yango is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead the expansion of its ride‑hailing platform. The role focuses on growing both rider and driver bases by shaping and executing sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets.
- Analyse market data to identify new business opportunities and emerging regions.
- Build and maintain relationships with city officials, corporate partners and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships to boost brand visibility.
- Drive client acquisition and retention while ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Oversee the sales department budget and allocate resources effectively.
Required profile
- 4‑6 years of proven sales success, preferably in transportation or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated experience leading and motivating sales teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Solid analytical background in forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
