Service Sales Manager

About the role

The Service Sales Manager will lead a team of service sales professionals in Abidjan, ensuring high‑quality after‑sales support at customer sites while expanding Bühler’s service revenue. This role combines leadership, strategic sales planning, and close collaboration with technical and operations teams to exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the service sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Design and implement sales strategies that grow service revenue and increase market share.
• Collaborate with technical, service and operations departments to deliver effective solutions and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify new service opportunities within existing accounts and prospective customers, managing pricing, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports and market analyses for senior management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to adjust sales approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, customer engagement and team productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in industrial or service environments.
• Strong business administration, sales or marketing background.
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.
