Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage Abidjan accounts for a leading steel manufacturing and trading company expanding its operations in Africa. The role involves handling accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Abidjan accounts, including accounts receivable/payable and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation
• Conduct financial analysis and generate management reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
• Prepare periodic financial statements, dashboards, and reports for senior management
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations

Required profile

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and controls
