Agent Operations Regional Lead

About the role

Wave is looking for an Agent Operations Regional Lead to drive the growth and performance of its agent network in Côte d'Ivoire. Based in San Pedro, you will oversee acquisition, training, compliance and day‑to‑day operations of agents across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Agent Openers to identify and acquire new agents according to selection criteria.
• Ensure agents sign valid contracts, receive comprehensive training and are certified on all products, KYC and AML/CTF procedures.
• Monitor cash and e‑value availability at agents in partnership with Liquidity and Quality teams.
• Track agent performance against targets, generate reports and address emerging issues.
• Identify agents for closure, recover Wave equipment and remove branding material.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the regional agent network, handling product queries and operational support.
• Maintain operational excellence, cost efficiency and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Champion high‑quality customer service across the network.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing agent or field operations in a financial services or fintech environment.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CTF compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, coordinate multiple stakeholders and travel within the region.
• Work authorization for Côte d'Ivoire.
