B2B Sales Manager – Abidjan

About the role

BURN is looking for a hands‑on B2B Sales Manager to drive the growth of its clean‑cooking appliance business in Ivory Coast. You will work directly in the market, building relationships with wholesalers, retailers and institutional partners to expand distribution and achieve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage the national sales, distribution and go‑to‑market strategy for both general and modern trade.
• Recruit, onboard and negotiate partnership agreements with wholesalers, retailers, corporations, government bodies and NGOs.
• Own the country B2B P&L, develop a path to break‑even within six months and control operating expenses.
• Maintain and grow existing distributor and key‑account relationships, co‑creating Joint Business Plans.
• Plan and execute low‑cost BTL activations and digital campaigns to generate consumer demand.

Required profile

• Proven track record in FMCG or consumer‑goods sales and distribution within Ivory Coast.
• Strong personal network with retailers, wholesalers and institutional buyers.
• Experience recruiting and managing trade partners and delivering P&L results.
• Comfortable travelling extensively and working in a resource‑constrained, field‑based environment.
