Business Developer – Mining Software (Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Developer to drive the commercial expansion of our integrated mining software and instrumentation portfolio across the African continent. You will sell high‑value, end‑to‑end technological solutions to mines, quarries, drill‑and‑blast contractors and heavy civil works projects, while building a network of local partners and subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new clients across Africa, targeting large‑scale mines, regional quarries, blasting contractors and civil works projects.
• Build and manage a structured, conversion‑driven sales pipeline based on field‑level operational needs.
• Deliver impactful presentations and technical demonstrations of our software suite, hardware probes and measurement tools to site engineers and corporate decision‑makers.
• Prepare tailored commercial proposals, negotiate terms and secure signed contracts.
• Develop, train and support regional partners, distributors and subsidiaries to amplify sales coverage.
• Maintain rigorous CRM reporting and provide market feedback to Product and Operations teams.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of proven B2B technical sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of at least one sector: Mining, Quarrying, Explosives/Drill‑and‑Blast, or heavy Civil Works.
• Demonstrated ability to sell complex integrated software‑hardware solutions.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and professional French (highly recommended).
• Willingness to travel regularly across Africa, including remote sites, and occasional travel to Europe.
