Channel Management Specialist

About the role

LG Electronics Africa West is looking for an experienced Channel Management Manager to drive distributor and retail-channel performance across Côte d'Ivoire, Togo and Benin. Based in Abidjan and reporting directly to the IVC Regional Branch Head, the role strengthens channel operations by managing distributor relationships, monitoring sell-out and inventory, supporting go-to-market execution and providing market insights.

Key responsibilities

• Distributor and channel management: manage day-to-day communication and relationships with distributors and retail partners, and support channel coverage, development and performance across the three markets.
• Sell-out, inventory and supply: monitor sell-out performance, channel inventory, demand forecasts and shipment status, and identify and coordinate on inventory or supply issues.
• Go-to-market and brand execution: support brand shop and retail execution, and coordinate product training, new product launches and other go-to-market activities.
• Market intelligence: monitor competitor activity, market pricing, promotions and retail execution, and provide timely market insights for commercial planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, channel management or a related commercial role in consumer appliances, electronics or a related industry.
• Working proficiency in English; French is preferred.
• Ability and eligibility to travel for business across the assigned markets.

• Preferred: hands-on experience managing appliance distributors and retail channels.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels and retail markets.
