Channel Supply Manager – Project Supply Chain

About the role

The Channel Supply Manager will lead the planning and execution of project supply chain activities for a major telecommunications client. The role ensures product availability, on‑time delivery, cost efficiency and compliance with customs and logistics regulations in Côte d’Ivoire.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise implementation of project supply plans, monitor purchase orders and deliveries.
• Act as primary contact for all project supply activities and coordinate with sales teams and customers.
• Implement supply strategies defined by the customer account department and identify opportunities for cycle and cost optimisation.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate supply and demand risks, ensuring capacity aligns with contractual commitments.
• Develop and manage logistics plans covering equipment shipment, customs clearance, final delivery and resource preparation.
• Monitor execution of logistics plans and adjust solutions to project changes or configuration updates.
• Oversee customs clearance operations related to Huawei activities in Côte d’Ivoire, support customers and maintain relationships with customs authorities and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with customs audits and control logistics costs and operational risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing project‑level supply chains in a telecommunications or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and logistics operations in West Africa.
• Ability to coordinate with sales, customers and internal teams to align supply with project requirements.
• Analytical mindset to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills in English (French preferred).
