Chef monteur pylône – Senior

About the role

We are looking for a senior lead tower assembler (Chef monteur pylône) to oversee the assembly, lifting, bolting and tensioning of guy wires on high‑rise structures. The role involves working at height, ensuring safety compliance and meeting project deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare assembly materials and personal protective equipment before each intervention.
• Assemble and bolt tower sections according to technical drawings.
• Participate in lifting operations using winches and lifting masts, positioning elements accurately.
• Install, adjust and tension guy wires under the direction of the chief assembler.
• Conduct visual checks for bolt torque and overall conformity.
• Report any anomalies such as defective equipment, adverse weather or unsafe behaviour.
• Maintain and store tools and equipment after use.
• Transfer knowledge to junior assemblers, acting as a technical reference.

Required profile

• Experienced tower assembler with 4‑6 years of hands‑on work on pylons or similar high‑rise structures.
• Ability to work autonomously and supervise junior staff.
• Good physical condition, no vertigo, and strong safety discipline.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Bolting and torque‑controlled tightening.
• Guy‑wire (hauban) installation and tensioning.
• Reading and interpreting simple assembly plans.
• Use of personal protective equipment for work at height.
