Contract Commercial Manager (Base) – 1-Year Consultancy

About the role

The Contract Commercial Manager (Base) will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial agreements for a leading telecommunications and finance client in Abidjan. This 1‑year consultancy position involves coordinating internal processes, drafting contracts, and leading negotiations to secure favorable terms.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor internal approval processes during bidding, contract signing, and contract changes.
• Prepare, review, and redline a variety of commercial agreements, including contracts, NDAs, and MOUs.
• Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and suppliers, developing strategies to achieve optimal pricing, scope, timelines, and risk allocation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial, legal, financial, and operational risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Project Delivery, and Procurement teams to align contract terms with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience working with Huawei or Chinese companies and familiarity with their internal processes is preferred.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English (reading and speaking).
• Proven track record of leading complex, high‑value commercial negotiations.
