Country Director – Côte d'Ivoire

About the role

Zipline is seeking a strategic, mission‑driven Country Director to lead and expand its operations in Côte d'Ivoire. Reporting directly to the CEO, Africa, you will be responsible for the full P&L, commercial success, operational excellence, and long‑term sustainability of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall health, performance, and growth of Zipline Côte d'Ivoire, including revenue, cost management, and service delivery.
• Lead and coordinate operating units across the country to ensure high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with government partners, development organizations, funders, and key decision‑makers.
• Drive internal strategy, alignment, and accountability to achieve business objectives.
• Represent Zipline publicly, championing its mission and fostering lasting value for the country.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience with a proven track record of commercial and operational success.
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to grow revenue while managing costs.
• Deep operational understanding of complex, high‑impact logistics or technology businesses.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate government and development ecosystems.
• Mission‑driven mindset with a passion for scaling innovative logistics solutions.
