Customer Service Sales Engineer – Cocoa Industry

About the role

Bühler Group is seeking a Customer Service Sales Engineer to strengthen its presence in the cocoa sector in Abidjan. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, implementing business strategies, and achieving sales targets for food‑processing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sales materials and up‑to‑date product knowledge.
• Establish, manage, and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to boost business activities within the assigned territory.
• Identify sales prospects, contact accounts, and align market activities with the Area Sales/Service Manager.
• Handle customer complaints, communicate new product opportunities, and ensure CRM data is current.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and generate leads for equipment and plant sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Experience with Parts, Sales and Service Representative (PSSR) is an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of grains and food processing.

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong sales and customer‑relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to develop technical solutions together with customers.
