Customer Support Associate - Francophone

About the role

LemFi is seeking a French‑speaking Customer Support Associate to join its growing team in Abidjan. You will be the first point of contact for users of the company’s financial app, providing assistance via phone, email and chat while ensuring a high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries in French and English through phone, email and live‑chat channels.
• Accurately record each interaction in Zendesk, following established SOPs and SLAs.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior team members or Team Leads.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve timely resolutions.
• Adhere to company processes and regulatory standards in all communications.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in customer support, call centre or a service‑oriented environment.
• Native‑level French with strong English proficiency.
• University education in marketing, communications, business management or a related field.
• Self‑driven, reliable and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zendesk ticketing system.
• Experience using Google Workspace tools.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and quick adaptation to new software.
