Database & GIS Coordinator

About the role

Endeavour Mining Exploration is seeking a Database & GIS Coordinator to support its exploration programmes across Western Africa. The role will provide oversight and technical support for geoscience and GIS database systems, ensuring high‑quality data for geologists and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and support all geoscience, GIS and database quality‑control systems at country level.
• Assist project‑level teams with database, GIS and QA/QC administration and training.
• Develop, implement and maintain new data‑collection and management solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security and confidentiality for all geoscience and GIS information.
• Manage quality‑control processes in the field and within data systems, supporting policy development and implementation.
• Report status of data systems and quality‑control programmes to senior managers and provide required data products.
• Travel to project sites, including mines and remote greenfield camps, to support field operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience with geoscience and GIS data systems and database quality‑control.
• Ability to provide technical assistance and training to exploration teams.
• Strong understanding of data integrity, security and confidentiality requirements.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned country.
