Field Service Technician

About the role

The Field Service Technician in Ivory Coast supports Casing/Tubing operations using a range of tubular sizes and Frank’s equipment. Working under the guidance of a Field Supervisor, the role involves hands‑on field work and on‑site representation of Expro at client meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain personal and team health and safety, stopping work when safety is at risk.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment faults, and incidents promptly.
• Implement and suggest improvements to quality, health, and safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, free of obstructions, and participate in safety programs.
• Complete and forward required reports such as STAR Cards, incident and equipment fault reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational documentation.
• Represent Expro professionally at client meetings when requested.
• Assist on‑shore or workshop operations at any Expro location as needed.
• Meet operational deadlines, including pre/post‑job meetings, travel obligations, safety talks, and shift configurations.
• Participate in learning and development programs, including travel when required.

Required profile

• Previous oil & gas field experience or mechanical/electrical experience.
• Ability and drive to meet operational deadlines.
• Aptitude and adaptability to meet changing operational needs.
• Completion of prerequisite requirements for the Field Service Technician role, such as probation period and demonstrable safe work practices.
