Finance Assistant Trainee (Internship)

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a Finance & Audit intern (m/f) for its Western and Central Africa Hub team in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The intern contributes to the Finance and Commercial department, working alongside colleagues in Ivory Coast and across other African and European countries.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Finance department in dedicated or assigned missions and in audit missions
• Support monthly and annual closing activities
• Collect and prepare documents for international payments
• Archive finance documents electronically and physically
• Manage financial operations, monitor data, prepare reports and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
• Take part in financial analysis for local commercial project management, payment monitoring and audit-related activities, and contribute to process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FD, CPM, Operations, Sales and Support)

Required profile

• Graduate in Finance, Accounting or Audit Management
• Experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit Management (not mandatory)
• Fluent in English and French
• Excellent organizational capacity, problem-solving orientation and openness to communication with management and team
• Able to interact with diverse internal and external partners

Required skills

• Excellent command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word
