Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee the local accounting system, ensure compliance with Côte d'Ivoire GAAP (Syscohada) and IFRS, and act as the primary liaison with banks and external auditors. This position reports to the head office and supports strategic financial planning and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee the local accounting system, posting journal entries in Odoo and ensuring accurate GL records.
• Design and implement accounting policies aligned with group standards and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit management accounting reports, IFRS financial statements, and tax filings on schedule.
• Represent the company in local banks, manage funding, and coordinate banking transactions.
• Lead audit processes, work with external accountants, and ensure timely delivery of required reports.
• Develop short‑term OPEX budgets, liquidity forecasts, and financial risk assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, IFRS, and tax reporting.
• Knowledge of financial mathematics (IRR, NPV, discounting, annuity).
• Ability to represent the company with local banks and understand banking products, including hedging instruments.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Excel (functions, pivot tables, Power Query).

Required skills

• Odoo accounting software.

• IFRS and local GAAP (Syscohada) reporting.
• Financial mathematics tools (IRR, NPV calculations).
• Banking product knowledge, especially hedging instruments.
