Finance & Operations Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Finance & Operations Manager will lead the company’s financial and supply‑chain functions within a manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures that production, innovation and financial processes operate efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with strategic objectives and food‑industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across production, finance, R&D and supply‑chain teams to guarantee smooth delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures aligned with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs to drive productivity, cost control and profitability.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial reports; analyse data for trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with accounting for accurate costing, inventory valuation and financial compliance.
• Manage procurement, inventory control, logistics and vendor relationships; negotiate contracts while ensuring food‑safety compliance.
• Optimize supply‑chain operations to reduce waste, lower costs and improve lead times.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, GMP and other local/international food‑safety regulations; support internal and external audits.
• Lead, train and mentor department managers; foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and operations management within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, supply‑chain processes and R&D operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Deep understanding of food‑safety regulations and production standards.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
