Financial Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Assistant to support our finance team in driving accurate planning, reporting, and compliance activities. The role will work closely with senior management to provide insights that guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and disclosures in line with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Deliver regular management reports highlighting KPIs, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting for VAT, corporation tax, and related obligations.
• Coordinate external audits, supply required information, and address audit findings.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, optimizing cash management strategies.
• Establish and uphold robust financial controls and procedures.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (3‑5 years relevant experience).
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and audit management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
