Fleet Director – EV Vehicle & Repair Management

About the role

GSM (Green SM) is launching Côte d’Ivoire’s first all‑electric ride‑hailing fleet and needs a hands‑on leader to own the end‑to‑end vehicle and repair operation. As Fleet Director you will build the import, logistics, workshop and maintenance ecosystem that keeps every EV on the road and drivers productive.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle import from customs clearance to depot delivery, coordinating with logistics partners and authorities.
• Design and manage the ground‑logistics network that moves vehicles and spare parts across depots and workshops.
• Establish and run a preventive and corrective maintenance programme for the entire EV fleet.
• Set maintenance standards, monitor battery health, high‑voltage safety and control parts inventory and costs.
• Lead the insurance and risk management function for the fleet.
• Recruit, train and develop a dedicated team of technicians, import and logistics leads.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in vehicle fleet operations, preferably in electric or high‑tech mobility.
• Strong track record of building logistics and maintenance capabilities from scratch.
• Ability to work in a fast‑scaling environment and collaborate with global partners and manufacturers.
• Excellent analytical and cost‑control mindset.
