Floorman

About the role

The Floorman works on the drilling rig floor, supporting drilling, tripping and pipe handling operations while strictly following safety procedures. This position is entry‑level and offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic oil‑and‑gas environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle drilling pipes and tubing on the rig floor.
• Assist with pipe connection and disconnection operations.
• Prepare and set up drilling equipment.
• Clean and maintain the rig floor area.
• Perform routine maintenance on rig equipment.
• Participate in the assembly and disassembly of rig components.
• Operate lifting equipment such as slips, elevators and catwalk machines.
• Observe lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
• Take part in emergency drills and report any hazardous situations.

Required profile

• Minimum education: BEP or BEPC.
• No prior experience required (0‑1 years).
• Certifications: BOSIET and H2S.
• Willingness to obtain banksman/slinger and working‑at‑height certifications (desired).
